Hi Miro! Nice sketches! Maybe it's a stereotype, but the first 4 sketches are too agressive, the last 4 too elegant for me. I imagine Dacia as a simple but smart car, but maybe I have no soul :) Please write about your thoughts of Dacia, what do you think about the brand? I like the 6th and 8th stuff, perfect Lancias (although I hate that feminine way what Lancia does now :)) What about your Berman-Renault stuff, I'm waiting for it! Yours: Sib
There are also some more images of the Dacia, i did not show. Well, for the project I decided to have more diversity design wise, instead of digging too much into one shape/design. I also admit, that some sketches are not for a Dacia car. I would do a nise Maserati out of them..but this is probably, because I wanted to add attitude and elegance to the overall shape of the car. I am not quite happy with the design of the current Dacia production. My oppinion is, that even the small & cheap cars should have some dignity and attitude. That doesn't mean they can't be smart or well resolved. However, each car must have a presence.
im gonna go the easy route here for feedback and agree with anonymous: a bit of backround, even a line about what you are shooting for with your sketches helps to evaluate your work better-beyond the obvious comments I have-awesome value, and really nice to see sketches mixed with rendereings, your process is easy on the eyes. noah/sketchaholic
It sure has too much of the Goldorak-face seen on the Suzuki concept but I find some of your lines matching well with the Dacia 12 inprint that was left over by the poor machine that rendered the Logan.
